This was one of the most fun shoots I've worked on. Firstly, Elicia and I have been friends for a while so we knew each other. I hadn't spent a lot of personal time with Stephen other than in bug groups. What a joy to record two people who are totally in love with each other.
I like interpretations in figuring out what a client wants but I also love working with people who know or have an idea in what they want us to achieve. This was a true collaborative between them and me the photographer in knowing where they wanted to be photographed and open to my ideas.
He adores her and she makes him laugh so all I had to do was do what I do.
